ABOUT THE BLOG:

Maya Decipherment focuses on the dissemination and serious discussion of ideas related to Maya hieroglyphic decipherment. It aims to routinely post observations on epigraphy and related archaeological and linguistic topics, and invites colleagues from the world of Mesoamerican studies to participate directly by posting and providing feedback.

Blog entries are (for now) categorized within one of five categories: Articles, Notes, Archives, News, and Books. More categories may be introduced in the future, but I see this as a good way to organize the varied sorts of contributions that have made their way onto the blog thus far.
