Connecting Tunnel

The Connecting Tunnel is located between the Northern and Western room systems of the Bent Pyramid. It takes its beginning at the very top of the Lower Chamber.

Below are photos taken along the route through the Tunnel "E".

The first row shows pictures of the tunnel, taken in the direction to the entrance to it, from the Lower Chamber (C).

All other photos were taken on the route towards the exit into the Horizontal Passage.

Passing through the tunnel, connecting the northern and western room system of the Bent Pyramid, we marked the highest precision of calculations of the tunnel builders. It is absulately impossible to connect two different room systems of the Pyramid interior, without knowing their locations and without having special equipment. The Tunnel is built without any smallest mistake!

It can be assumed - that the Tunnel was originally laid while the construction of the Pyramid (for some technical purposes) or made by someone, who knew the Pyramid internal structure very good.

The tunnel enters a Horizontal Passage with an intersection. The left wing of it leads to the Upper Chamber, and the right - to the end of the Western Descending Passage. The Horizontal Passage will be discussed in the next chapter.
